   Professor Marianne M. Sloet van Oldruitenborgh-Oosterbaan, DVM, PhD, Dip.         ECEIM and Dip. ECVSMR

   

 

Professor Marianne Sloet is a popular speaker with expertise in a great variety of topics
within equine healthcare and welfare. Retired now as a professor at Utrecht university, she
continues to do research with PhD candidates alongside part-time work as a specialist in
Krommerijnstreek Equine Practice, as a resident supervisor in Emmeloord Equine Clinic and
as a veterinary consultant in Eikenlust Equine Consultancy (Bilthoven). She is also FEI Head
veterinarian for the Netherlands and acts as veterinary delegate on several FEI Events.
Prof. Sloet is a founding member and first president of the European College of Equine Internal
Medicine where she is also a honorary member. In 2017 she was awarded honorary life contributor by the Royal Netherlands Veterinary Association.
